24/08/2022 - 26/08/2022 Wednesday- Friday                   The last three days at Pattom girls where different from past weeks. The Onam exams begun and we where not given examination duty So, I used the time to complete my works like activity book, achievement test report.  On Wednesday, we trainees where given an correction duty of OMR sheet of students.  On Thursday, we given a class to sit from auditorium. We consolidated all works to be done from school itself. We got signature from HM on our record book.  On Friday, our last day, we all have mixed feeling. We all enjoyed the school a lot and feel sadness to say goodbye. Even though students where preparing for exams, they come to us, gave present🎁, feedback , 🍫chocolates🍫..  We trainees go to restaurant and have lunch.  At last, we took a picture with our beloved HM.                       With our H...

22/08/2022 Monday Last week at Pattom school. It's hard to believe that one month and 10 days has passed so quickly. I had two more lp to be taken in class.Today, I got three hours so that my three works has been finished.  During second hour which is an library🏫📚 hour, me, shilpa and Aby took conscientization program o n the tipic- Digital Detox.  During third period, I conduct Diagnostic test for poorly achieved students in the test. I asked to take only one minute for one question. For other students, I show the questions on ppt. Hence, revision on chapter Equations has been done.  Afternoon, I got PT period for the concerned teacher was on leave. I completes the section of square of sums.  23/08/2022 Tuesday Today was the last day that we could take class as from tomorrow onwards Onam exam for going to start.   Conscientization  program - DIGITAL DETOX 22/08/2022 Poster of the program We, Mathematics optional students of Govt. MGHSS, Pattom school organized a conscientization program on the topic- Digital detox, which is my project itself.  Lakshmi, of PS optional helped to make poster and took pictures of our class. The class was organised on 8B's library period. 19/08/2022 Friday Today, I arrived earlier at school since I have morning duty. I kept discipline at high school section. One of my peer, Gayathri of English optional was absent due to death of her near cousin. So, I go to 8 B during third hour and took my sixth hour. Hence, completed till my 27 th lp. Need three more classes to finish my target.     20/08/2022 Saturday Even though today is Saturday, we have class as there was lot of portions to be completed  before Onam exam and many unexpected holiday occured due to heavy rains ☔. I got two periods. During second period, I took 28 th lp. Then, afternoon, I got an extra hour from Biology teacher. So, I conduct a mini-test .  There where two programs at auditorium. One is organized as part of Sanskrit Day.  Another is organized in association with federal bank. 

  16/08/2022   Tuesday The sixth week starts with independence day that was celebrated in an exclusive way. After the day, students return back to studies and was preparation for Onam exams begins. All teachers are busy with completing portions for exam. I got three hours and started the chapter - Identities.  During second period, Deepthi mam came for second observation. Then, third period, I borrow ed period from music teacher. Last period for library was also taken to complete three lesson plans.    17/08/2022 Wednesday Today I arrived earlier at school since during second hour, I have to conduct achievement test.  I go to class prior to 5 minutes so that sheeja mam gave me extra 5 minutes. I gave question paper and necessary instructions and start test at 10.15 AM itself. I collected the paper by 11.00 clock, after sharp 45 minutes. I checked the paper and gave it to them during 5th period and discuss the question paper. 

  13 to 15 , August 2022   The 75 th independence day celebrations started from 13 th August and ended on 15 th August with fabulous programs. It's the decision at Government level and all Govt.offices, schools, institutions celebrated the event with glory.  Since the day occurred in between our teaching practise days, our focus and presence was at pattom school.  Each of us was given specific class to gave orientation to rally and related programs. I got X- A class which was Malayalam medium consisting of only 5 student and two are SPC students. Thus, I need only to focus on two students.  The flag hosting ceremony was on 13 th August, Saturday.  The freedom wall @ Higher secondary block On 15th August, the flag hosting ceremony conducted at 9.00AM with rally by 9.45 AM. .    After rally, there was a general meeting conducted at open stage and followed by different programs of students- group song by 75 student, drama, dance etc.  MTTC @ Pa...

11/08/2022 Thursday Today, I got first two periods for 8B. I got enough time to complete my the chapter 'Polygons'. I use ICT oriented class to show some real life examples of polygons.  Then, I visited library to borrow one math related book for 📖 and reflection.  Today we have lunch duty.  Afternoon, we go to HM room to collect national flag in accordance with independence day🇮🇳.  There was also an quiz competition conducted in auditorium for high school students related to independence day.  Quiz 12/08/2022 Friday Today, I arrived early at school. 08/08/2022 Monday Another week at pattom school. I have completed writing record and other pending works can start in this week: project, health record, 📖reading and reflection etc.  I have class during last period, but took 3 rd and fifth hour by adjusting library and PT period. So i borrowed my last period to biology teacher.  Due to Muharam, Tuesday was ab public holiday.    10/08/2022 Wednesday Today I reached college by 9.00 AM. I saw PT teacher from school gate itself, rushed at her to ask for one period, but didn't get. Thus, I have only period at second hour. The timetable gas changed and by luck, I realized that my hour changed from 4 th to 2 nd period. I have to take one more period to complete that chapter.  So, I requested the class teacher of 8B to  borrow one period tomorrow and she granted that. 01/08/2022 Monday Fourth week at Pattom school, first week of August. Our teaching practice will be upto 26th of this month. Lots of works to do and pressure is unbearable.  At those times, I remember this 👆qoute.  I have finished the second chapter last week and dealing with 3rd chapter 'Polygons'. This chapter has got lot of possibility of giving activities.  I have class at 3rd hour and finished 15th lesson plan. Last hour is devoted for testpaper on lase chapter 'Equations'.  Today at  school, there where two programs conducted at auditorium. One is excellence awards for outstanding students at higher secondary level, in the previous year exam.  Afternoon, there was a career day program for higher secondary students.  At evening, I went to college to get sign from our optional teacher.    2nd and 3rd August, 2022 was declared as holiday due to heavy rain and flash floods. 

  25/07/2022 Monday A new week begins at school. I am planning to complete half of our targeted lp in this month itself. Today I have only last period and complete the chapter 'Equations' and make them to do an activity chart on folk math regarding a bird question🐦🌊🥀. Even though I tried to take 8 B library hour, that hour was taken by hindi teacher.  26/07/2022 Tuesday Today, the school conducted parents meeting for class 8 & 9 . We arranged the auditorium for the meeting. I have class during second period  . I took a new chapter Polygons and taught the concept using Concept attainment model of teaching.   21/07/2022 Thursday Today, the school celebrated the 🌙Moons day, in remembrance of mans first moon landing. Programs where held for all sections and students prepared charts, models of rocket etc and place it in the auditorium.  Then, a small video presentation where there depicting the importance of the day with a small meeting hosted by the teachers.  I have class during second hour, but can't finished the portions as the majority of students from social science and science club gone for the meeting.   18/07/2022 Monday Monday mornings are too busy.... whether in house or road or in school. Today, our college have assigned duty. I choose lunch duty since arriving for morning duty with a toddler is a little bit difficult😣.. I have only period at last hour which is only 30 minutes. So I tried to grab free hours by consulting the class teacher of 8B. I grant permission to take PT, library and IT period from next week, since trainees from other college are leaving this week and they need time for conducting diagnostic test , remedial teaching etc. I took a small section on algebraic method. Today,our principal came to school and observed certain classes. 13/07/2022 Wednesday First day at Pattom school has student teacher. It was going to be my first time experience in a Government school ans was super excited!! After signing at HM office, we headed to our allocated space at auditorium. I have class at 4 th hour. So I prepared for tha class and my concerned teacher was on leave till AN.                I took 4th and 6th hour for 8th standard, taught basic concepts of Equations-addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I took in activity-oriented method. Several activities where given after dividing sts into four groups- Red , Yellow , Blue , Green .  The teaching practice for Semester 4 , B. Ed course has been scheduled from 13 th July to 26th August, 2022. My school :Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondady School I got Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondady School, Pattom. We are  asked to report at school on 6th July, for collecting the timetable and respective portions. We arrived at school by 9.00AM and waited to see the headmaster. He briefly explained about the etiquette to be keep up while in school as teachers. Also a picture about the PTA, various commissions for children and warn about the rights enjoyed by students 👩‍🎓!!!!? So we are in state where strictness and softness to be shown in eqvilance to balance both.  After the meeting, our teacher in charge Sreelekha mam directed us to our respectice subject teachers. My teacher is Prakash sir and got his class 8 B. Sir asked to take from 2nd chapter. Initially I got 2 class, but after a rearrangment I got only one class.
