 It's quite difficult to be student again... During teaching practise days, I enjoyed being a teacher and teaching was an healing process for me!!  For past 2 years, I was a lecturer in different colleges. Hence  teaching was a nostalgic process for me that heal all wounds in my mind💔. But as we returned to college, we are welcomed by lots of works: First was our yoga exam with commands held on 22 February 2022 Yoga 🧘‍♀️ exam Reports on achievement test and diagnostic test where to be submitted on given dates  Report on conscientization program conducted I school has to be submitted. Works related to paper 11 was announced by joju sir.   Transition from teacher 👩‍🏫 to student 👩‍🎓: After more than one month of tg practice ,we are back to college. Really missing those days... During morning, after Joju sir class, we have an assessment meeting about our tg practice days. The leaders of each school shared their experiences in 5 minutes. Since I was the leader of St.Gorettis school, I shared our and myself experiences. Then, josens shared her special experiences at school. After that ,Joju sir,Neena mam shared their views on our journey as trainee trs. We have prepared a video to play during report presentation 👇 Then ,Benedict sir gave a talk about the  practise teaching days. Sir inspired us by quoting from Paulo Coelho's book ' The Archer '. Afternoon ,we have optional hour.   18/02/2022 FRIDAY  Today is our last day of teaching practise for Semester 3 of our B.Ed course. After spending more than one month as teacher , we are reliving to college .  After prayer , HM gave a short talk on our service there and wishes as all the best . I thanked all the teachers and HM for their support and guidance through out our journey. We gave an gift to HM as a sign of our gratitude.  Then,we proceed to take classes as per our timetable. I  got two hours-one for 8th and other for 9th std students. Students gave feedback on my class. With 9C students  After school time ,we got managed to get a photo with our HM.  With HM Sr.Aquina  Me with Jolly mam and Sabu sir We,B.Ed trainees,shared a common feeling that we seriously miss the school St.Gorettis 🏫...we all are going back to college with lots of memories!!  Offline class resumes:-Back to school 14/02/2022 MONDAY Today onwards, schools are reopening and our teaching practice has been extended to one more week. So we have practice till 18th February. I arrived early at school for hand overing the extension letter I got from college. After prayer  HM asked to take classes as per timetable. I have one hour for 8B students. I started a new chapter Money Math and taught then Simple Interest and Compound Intetest. After class, I prepared my questions for diagnostic test and received approval from my optional teacher. 16/02/2022 WEDNESDAY   Today ,I have class for both 8th and 9th std. For 9th std students,I decided to conduct diagnostic test and remedial teaching,but it needs two continuous hours. So I adjust with SS teacher and got 3rd and 4th hour. For 2nd hour I have 8th std.   11/02/2022 FRIDAY Today morning, I took physical education class for 9C students. During evening, Sabu sir gave his hour for 9B & 9C  so that I can take the Prism portion, for next week onwards, offline class resumes.So sir asked to complete the chapter taking in online mode. I completed one section of prisms including the Volume and Total surface area of prisms.  12/02/2022 SATURDAY   Today morning, I took class for 9th std students. I continued the yesterday's portion and completed the chapter PRISMS by taking the portion of Cylinder. After that ,I asked the review for my class and sts gave good comments.    After class,by 10'clock I arrived at college to receive the extension letter for handing it over to HM. I received it from Neena mam. Then I headed to school where some students where waiting for notes correction and doubt clearance. 

  Food for physical fitness- 9th grade Today morning from 6.45am to 7.30am, I took my first physical education class on health and nutrition. I took for 9C students. I choose the chapter: ' Food for physical fitness'. I started the class by asking them about food. Then show a food packet containing nutrients percentage contained in it. Then,I asked about what all nutrients they knew.  After that, I share a ppt on same.  Then, we discussed about main nutrients: Carbohydrates  Minerals  Proteins  Fats Vitamins  Water 💧  Then , I gave some activities from children and played a video depicting the nutrients in foods. I ended the class by a qoute on food!! Then I asked students to share their thoughts on my class . Their feedback make my day🙂💝..

 8/02/2022 TUESDAY I have morning class gor 9th std students. Today, I taught a new concept called absolute value  from the chapter ' Real Numbers '. Since it's a new concept,  I took time to explain it and didn't rush to take exercise. Also I informed sts about a testpaper on Thursday evening from 7 to 7.40pm. I asked them to send the answer script as pdf to my WhatsApp number. 9/02/2022 WEDNESDAY  Evening class for 8th std sts. It was my last online class for them. I completed the chapter ' Identities ' and make them to do activity 'match the following ' . I asked questions and marked answer for them. At end of that class,I asked for feedback and they gave good comments.  10/02/2022 THURSDAY   Today morning class for 9th std students.  I completed the chapter Real Numbers by explaining the last exercise and started a new chapter PRISMS .  Using ICT method, I explained different dimensions like 1D,2D,3D figures.   Topic:Mother Earth 🌎 Tagline: Reduce Reuse Recycle ♻️  Today evening from 5.00 to 6.00PM, we 6 students of group 1(St.Gorettis school) conducted a conscientization program on 6 topics that depict the importance of preserving our mother earth.  Poster of the program                           Video poster of the program  As I am the leader, I tell the introductory part and presented my topic: " Ocean Conservation and Clean up projects" . I tell students about the importance of preserving our Oceans for they are the largest ecosystem in the world and act an important place in managing the atmospheric temperature and climate.  After that ,I showed a video of ocean cleanup project in Pacific Ocean. The video clearly explains how ocean are cleaned and the collected wasted are recycled to produce new products.   04/02/2022 FRIDAY I have class for 8th std students during evening from 8 to 9.00PM. Today, I taught the last 2 identities remaining in the chapter; the sum and difference. For teaching the formulae, I make students to do one problem from which they identified the new identities. Then, done some exercise problems including patterns . During the class,our schools HM called and call her after the class. Sr informed about a meeting to be held on Saturday for conveying some important matters regarding classes.  01/03/2022 TUESDAY Another month started and I started a new chapter 'Polynomials ' for class 9 students in the morning 6.30 to 7.30AM. I created ppt to teach the theory portions so that students can understand the concept easily. Today, I completed the first section including the exercise problems.  In midst, we are informed to submit our innovative work and I submitted a working model of Simple bar graph 📊.  I liked the works of my classmates ; some are truly innovative 💡.. 03/02/2022 THURSDAY   My second class in this week.  Today I planned to complete the second section of Polynomials and it happened so with the corporation of sts. Actually in that section,  the definition of Polynomials is introduced. It was simple chapter and std understood well. Since it was online class, I include activity card in ppt to make do the task.
