School internship-WEEK 1⃣

Wednesday

First day at Pattom school has student teacher. It was going to be my first time experience in a Government school ans was super excited!! After signing at HM office, we headed to our allocated space at auditorium. I have class at 4 th hour. So I prepared for tha class and my concerned teacher was on leave till AN. 


              I took 4th and 6th hour for 8th standard, taught basic concepts of Equations-addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I took in activity-oriented method. Several activities where given after dividing sts into four groups-Red, Yellow, Blue, Green. Children's enjoyed group activities.

Thursday

Today we got various duties at school;mainly 3 duties where there-morning,lunch and evening duties. 
I got lunch duty. I have class at second hour and before that I met my sir. He came for observing the class. The class went smoothly and gave activities for checking their response. My peer Shilpa also observed my class. After class, sir gave valuable remarks and record the same on observation book.

Lunch duty

Friday

Today was July 15,Mar Ivanios feast day; Mar Ivanios was the first archbishop of Syro-Malankara Catholic Church ⛪ who has been  declared as the 'Servant of God'. The school under the management of MC church got holiday to celebrate the feast. We have class today as ours is a Government school. 
Unfortunately, kid of one of the teachers in the school has passed away. Majority teacherss where on leave, we student teachers handled the vacant classes. I got first and sixth hour.

  Conscientization  program - DIGITAL DETOX 22/08/2022 Poster of the program We, Mathematics optional students of Govt. MGHSS, Pattom school organized a conscientization program on the topic- Digital detox, which is my project itself.  Lakshmi, of PS optional helped to make poster and took pictures of our class. The class was organised on 8B's library period. Exam prepararions

 After Onam holidays, exam date for practical board examination announced. It will be from 27th to 30th September, 2022. During holidays, I was hardly working to finish my works- optional and project including MCQ book. I submit all works on time and got correction for project from guide Benedict sir. So, I have to edit my project again which was tougher . Sleepless days...  After completion of all works, it was time to get seal, signature etc from teachers and Principal. It all done on time, without delay and we are asked to prepare lesson template for commission.  I chose a topic ' Frequency Table' of class XI for teaching. I use slides for make the lp attractive and bring two variety of activities. We have to write three copies of the lp.  On 26th Monday, September, we all get ready for final touch of exam and gathered at college. Teaching practice-WEEK 5️⃣(I)

 01/03/2022 TUESDAY Another month started and I started a new chapter 'Polynomials ' for class 9 students in the morning 6.30 to 7.30AM. I created ppt to teach the theory portions so that students can understand the concept easily. Today, I completed the first section including the exercise problems.  In midst, we are informed to submit our innovative work and I submitted a working model of Simple bar graph 📊.  I liked the works of my classmates ; some are truly innovative 💡.. 03/02/2022 THURSDAY   My second class in this week.  Today I planned to complete the second section of Polynomials and it happened so with the corporation of sts. Actually in that section,  the definition of Polynomials is introduced. It was simple chapter and std understood well. Since it was online class, I include activity card in ppt to make do the task.
