  Republic day celebration at MTTC             On 26th January 2021,  India celebrated its 72th Republic day. Our college also celebrated by a function on the same day itself by flag hosting  and conducting a small quiz program .    Our 64th college union conducted the Republic day celebration on this day by including our(first years) programs. Hence, this was our first golden chance to perform on the stage!! Eventhough, our class was mixed with new admissions , it's the intiate of my fellow classmates Aleena and Sajin who brought all together. Although we get only a couple of days for preparation and all, I think all my classmates come forward and share their ideas for program conduction. Rubeena give the idea of theme play and we all agreed since 13 of us get a  chance to play in it. Another cheerful week in theophlius!! This week we continued with our orientation programme and special timetable. We got time to visit our library and reading room which consists of seperate reference session for B.Ed,M.Ed and research fellows. Dr.Ancy miss handled our psychology class and she introduced the topic on ' Growth & Development'. There we study:       Definition of growth and development        Difference between growth and development        Various aspects of development        Basic elements of development        Factors affecting growth and development       Principles of development and its educational implications . Mar Theophilus Training College(MTTC) The  65th batch of MTTC has been started on 6/1/2021. Eventhough our academic year is 2020- 2022, class can be commensurate only now due to covid-19 pandemic . In the absence of our Principal Dr.K.Y.Benedict sir, Dr.Giby mam welcomed us to the college and all other teachers introduce themselves.     First day was actually a student orientation  programme which we got familiar with our b.ed course. Within this week, we all understood that this course is different from our degree and master course. I think this course will help us  to dig out the skills hidden in us and to bring out the optimum in us. On 9 th Saturday, we have our 30th Annual THEOSA meet through google meet and we remembered our sir lateDr.Laji Varghese of English department.
