 Midway has passed...another same distance yet to be covered ...Semester 3 of B.Ed has started and our first phase of teaching practise is going to be happening from Jan 2022.  I got St.Goretti School .Headmistress was Sr.Aquina. As an initial program,we are given schools and  visited our respective schools to meet the concerned teacher through headmistress/Principal .A whole new experience and luckily I got my teacher in school days as my mentor. We collected portions to be taught for coming days after Christmas vacation and hopefully will get time for planning and preparation. Meanwhile,in morning session we got an idea of teaching practise by Maya mam. Then we go for Robotics training . Got an excellent chance to operate robot.ie, to move forward, reverse, left and right side, to sense the distance. 

Dr.Neena Gupta, professor at The Indian Statistical Institute( IST) , Kolkata won the prestigious DST-ICTP-IMU Ramanujan prize for Young mathematicians. She is the fourth Indian to win this prize;third women to win this prize. Award is given for her research work in affine  algebraic geometry and commutative algebra. The prize is jointly awarded by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics(Italy), International Mathematical Union(IMU) and the Department of Science and Technology under govt. of India. She was a winner many awards  like INSA Young Scientist award, Ramanujan prize from University of Madras,Saraswathi Cowsik medal by TIFRAlumini Asociation and much more!!

 14th & 15th December, 2021 The days has been finally arrived!!The college has been visited by the NAAC team consisting of four members . The college has been well prepared for the visit. DAY 1 First day followed by welcoming them to college. Due to Covid-19 situation, management scheduled only a short welcome with few students . Then they conduct a meeting in zero hour for planning of visiting various facilities in the college. They visited all departments , labs, office ,teachers and had lunch with management members of Malankara Catholic Church. Several eminent personalities from various spheres had come to college. Members of PTA, Theosa-old students association too had meeting them. Immediately after our semester 2 university exam, preparations for NAAC visit started at grassroot level...Our optional mam already divided us into groups and assigned works for class beautification,  Laboratory & library updating etc.  I got Lab- in -charge duty..bought new lab instruments, cleaned the room, make necessary arrangements with beautification along with aswathy, emily,sruthi and other fellow classmates like josena,revathy ,Sajin,aby ... Models by sem 1 students!!! Very quickly,our semester 2 of B.Ed has been completed with University exam finished on 7th December. MCQ exam has been conducted from 16th to 20th November,2021. Model exam was finished before a week. In midst, our arts & aesthetic paper's evaluation has been conducted by a drama performance on 15th November.        We where already divided into 6 groups for group performances.       Our group 5 named as "Thelaya" performed based on topic-' a packet in roadside"!!  On15th November itself, BEd first year students classes started.
