Community Living Camp-Day 1⃣

 DAY-1 MONDAY

The community living camp had been organized in the leadership of Dr.Ancy mam from 14th to 18th Match,2022.

The first days chief guest was Mr. Sunil Kumar sir ofG College, TVM. The presidential address was given by our principal Benedict sir . Sir compares the camp as an Pandoras box 🗃🎁 where we can explore the different levels of social living disciplines. Then ,our chairman Subinjth gave the message of the values of being a social being.  

The chief message by Sunilkumar sir : share experience of his experience as student in DIET  1992's times . He said as a student, their main topic for discussion was Education policy I Rajeev gandis time. Sir tell the importance of teacher in this changing times, even in midst of digital learning. 

" Teacher must know everything about something and something about everything ".

Sir mentioned about the views of Vygotsky, Havinhurst.

Competency , experience and training are the main components of a techo-pedagogue. Being a teacher  we need constant updating. New age students are multi-layered with complex mental health.

"If education fails everything fails".

Sir encouraged us to be "nice" teachers..

  • Read good newspapers 🗞, minimum 5!!
  • Eat good foods 🍎🍇🌽
  • See good movies 🎬 
  • Hear good songs🎵 
Next chief guest was cine artist Mr.Premkumar . He shares his personal experience in childhood about his school and teachers. 


The inaugral session was over by 12.20 PM and students are provider with refreshments. I was in the refreshment committee. 

ICE BREAKING 🧊 Session 

After forenoon session ,we have our lunch.  Then ,afternoon session starts by 1.20 PM . The session was handled by a former student of MTTC,  Mr.Sibin Antony. He was a teacher at Naval school, Kochi.  He was life-skill trainer,HR trainer, councilor and above all a teacher!! Ancy mam gave a short intro about him .

Sir make us to do many activities..

  Conscientization  program - DIGITAL DETOX 22/08/2022 Poster of the program We, Mathematics optional students of Govt. MGHSS, Pattom school organized a conscientization program on the topic- Digital detox, which is my project itself.  Lakshmi, of PS optional helped to make poster and took pictures of our class. Exam prepararions

 After Onam holidays, exam date for practical board examination announced. It will be from 27th to 30th September, 2022. During holidays, I was hardly working to finish my works- optional and project including MCQ book. I submit all works on time and got correction for project from guide Benedict sir. So, I have to edit my project again which was tougher . Sleepless days...  After completion of all works, it was time to get seal, signature etc from teachers and Principal. It all done on time, without delay and we are asked to prepare lesson template for commission.  I chose a topic ' Frequency Table' of class XI for teaching. I use slides for make the lp attractive and bring two variety of activities. We have to write three copies of the lp.  On 26th Monday, September, we all get ready for final touch of exam and gathered at college. Teaching practice-WEEK 5️⃣(I)

 01/03/2022 TUESDAY Another month started and I started a new chapter 'Polynomials ' for class 9 students in the morning 6.30 to 7.30AM. I created ppt to teach the theory portions so that students can understand the concept easily. Today, I completed the first section including the exercise problems.  In midst, we are informed to submit our innovative work and I submitted a working model of Simple bar graph 📊.  I liked the works of my classmates ; some are truly innovative 💡.. 03/02/2022 THURSDAY   My second class in this week.  Today I planned to complete the second section of Polynomials and it happened so with the corporation of sts. Actually in that section,  the definition of Polynomials is introduced. It was simple chapter and std understood well. Since it was online class, I include activity card in ppt to make do the task.
