Food for physical fitness-9th grade
Today morning from 6.45am to 7.30am, I took my first physical education class on health and nutrition. I took for 9C students. I choose the chapter: ' Food for physical fitness'.
I started the class by asking them about food. Then show a food packet containing nutrients percentage contained in it. Then,I asked about what all nutrients they knew. After that, I share a ppt on same.
Then, we discussed about main nutrients:
- Carbohydrates
- Minerals
- Proteins
- Fats
- Vitamins
- Water 💧
Then , I gave some activities from children and played a video depicting the nutrients in foods.
I ended the class by a qoute on food!! Then I asked students to share their thoughts on my class .
