School Induction @ NBV🏫

NAVAJEEVAN BETHANY VIDYALAYA

     As part of our B.Ed cirriculum,we have an school induction program ; to get acquitted with the atmosphere of school as a first step in our future career. Our batch has been divided into seven groups consisting of students from each optional and assigned different schools:

  • Sarvodaya Vidyalaya
  • Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya 
  • St.Josephs School
  • St.Johns Higher Secondarry School
  • Sreekaryam Govt.HSS
  • Pattom St.Marys School
  • Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya 


I got Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya(NBV) located at Nalanchira. The school was near to my house and I had go their in related to some religious programs from my church;but it was first time going officially. I was really wondered by the hospitality they have given, from Principal madam to other staff members. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, NBV was running with only few students like those come for remedial classes and model exams. So we didn't get a chance to mingle with students but few teachers are available and lab staffs too. 

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Motto: 'Jnanena muktihi'

It is a CBSE school established in 2002 and  got affiliation in 2006. Currently the school has 2000+ students with 93 teachers. They provide infra structural facilities like:

  • Smart classrooms
  • Physical Education room(with gym facility)
  • Seperate amenities in each block
  • Spacious grounds including indoor courts.
  • Conference Hall, infirmary, Visitors lounge
  • Labs- science & computer
  • Library






             The additional facilities include house system for students, extra-cirricular activities like martial arts,indoor and outdoor games, SALT-Leadership Training program, BIBOX-for young innovative minds, Atal Tinkering lab, Edisaspp -for effective parental involvement in school procedures,to name a few. NBV has got several acheivements like Global Academic Forum(GAF)Centre of Excellence-A star in GAR process, International School Awarsd got twice(in 2015-2018 & 2018-2021) and accreditation from British Council, International Standards Organization (ISO 9001-2015) certified institution.

 The school has got a lush green court with aquarium,pigeon nest,love birds,vegetable cultivation, plants with their scientific names,piscicutlure tank- has all increase the ambience of the school atmosphere and we didn't even felt that school is situated at a busy junction.Even though we get only two days for induction,we all try to grab the maximum oppurtunities available from NBV for the nourishment of our future career. Exam prepararions

 After Onam holidays, exam date for practical board examination announced. It will be from 27th to 30th September, 2022. During holidays, I was hardly working to finish my works- optional and project including MCQ book. I submit all works on time and got correction for project from guide Benedict sir. So, I have to edit my project again which was tougher . Sleepless days...  After completion of all works, it was time to get seal, signature etc from teachers and Principal. It all done on time, without delay and we are asked to prepare lesson template for commission.  I chose a topic ' Frequency Table' of class XI for teaching. I use slides for make the lp attractive and bring two variety of activities. We have to write three copies of the lp.  On 26th Monday, September, we all get ready for final touch of exam and gathered at college. Teaching practice-WEEK 5️⃣(I)

 01/03/2022 TUESDAY Another month started and I started a new chapter 'Polynomials ' for class 9 students in the morning 6.30 to 7.30AM. I created ppt to teach the theory portions so that students can understand the concept easily. Today, I completed the first section including the exercise problems.  In midst, we are informed to submit our innovative work and I submitted a working model of Simple bar graph 📊.  I liked the works of my classmates ; some are truly innovative 💡.. 03/02/2022 THURSDAY   My second class in this week.  Today I planned to complete the second section of Polynomials and it happened so with the corporation of sts. Actually in that section,  the definition of Polynomials is introduced. It was simple chapter and std understood well. Since it was online class, I include activity card in ppt to make do the task.
