A week dedicated for arts👩‍🎤💃 and literature✍

Literature Fest

The 64th college union conducted the literary fest -Thamapathra,on 29th March.Our teachers and  seniors organised the items well without much tensions. Last week,we are divided into four groups consisting of our seniors,both second years and M.Ed students. The names given to the 4 groups are interesting:

  • Group1-Panchachamaram
  • Group2-Pushpithagraha
  • Group3-Praharshini
  • Group4-Pallavini
Principal sir informed about the rules for participating in the competitions like maximum 4 items for individuals,max 3 from each group for each item and their was mobile photography contest too(see the role of technology in our lifes).


I was in the first group and Reshma, Anusha, Priyanka were the group leaders.Our chairman Subinjit was also in our group and our former chairman Roshini too.At that time itself ,I sensed a overall trophy for us and all of the group members worked for the same.Practice sessions were held on last Saturday too. Today was busy with participation for several competitions and I was there for group song and nadanpattu. The auditorum was got decorating by our seniors for tommorows arts fest inaugration.




  At evening,we celebrated holi too in colours and glitters.

Arts Fest 2021 -AVANIJA 

Our arts fest got inaugrated  by the famous poet Murugan Kattakada and cine artist jeevan.


The whole two days,we rocked the stage with some brilliant performances ,it include fancy dress🧛‍♀️,various songs👨‍🎤 & dance items 🕺,skit,mime🧟‍♂️.



At last,my intuition was right,we Panchachamaram got the overall in both literary and arts competitions.So, the final trophy was for us.
Varsha Ajith of English and Aby Alex of Mathematics got the highest  individual points.

Good memorable days with a bunch of new friends .This type of fests actually gives an opportunity to mingle with new people and explore more about our college atmosphere.Since in my school days ,this arts and literary days are actually leave days for me ;for students with good talents and those who came first got only opportunities in this type of fests and students like me are always audience. After joining this B.Ed course,I was surprised and thrilled by getting chances to perform on stage. The experience that I got on these days are tremendous and it definitely increase my confidence level. Thanks for our college community for organising such fests eventhough we are batch with lot of lags.

  Conscientization  program - DIGITAL DETOX 22/08/2022 Poster of the program We, Mathematics optional students of Govt. MGHSS, Pattom school organized a conscientization program on the topic- Digital detox, which is my project itself.  Lakshmi, of PS optional helped to make poster and took pictures of our class. Exam prepararions

 After Onam holidays, exam date for practical board examination announced. It will be from 27th to 30th September, 2022. During holidays, I was hardly working to finish my works- optional and project including MCQ book. I submit all works on time and got correction for project from guide Benedict sir. So, I have to edit my project again which was tougher . Sleepless days...  After completion of all works, it was time to get seal, signature etc from teachers and Principal. It all done on time, without delay and we are asked to prepare lesson template for commission.  I chose a topic ' Frequency Table' of class XI for teaching. I use slides for make the lp attractive and bring two variety of activities. We have to write three copies of the lp.  On 26th Monday, September, we all get ready for final touch of exam and gathered at college. Teaching practice-WEEK 5️⃣(I)

 01/03/2022 TUESDAY Another month started and I started a new chapter 'Polynomials ' for class 9 students in the morning 6.30 to 7.30AM. I created ppt to teach the theory portions so that students can understand the concept easily. Today, I completed the first section including the exercise problems.  In midst, we are informed to submit our innovative work and I submitted a working model of Simple bar graph 📊.  I liked the works of my classmates ; some are truly innovative 💡.. 03/02/2022 THURSDAY   My second class in this week.  Today I planned to complete the second section of Polynomials and it happened so with the corporation of sts. Actually in that section,  the definition of Polynomials is introduced. It was simple chapter and std understood well. Since it was online class, I include activity card in ppt to make do the task.
